Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

First Prize

My favourite book is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows written by J.K. Rowling. It is the seventh book in the Harry Potter series. This book was first published by Bloomsbury in July 2007.

‘Give me Harry Potter and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter and I will leave the school untouched. Give me Harry Potter and you will be rewarded.’ Voldemort’s voice boomed. Harry Potter is on the run from the evil Voldemort who murdered his parents. But Voldemort is not far behind. Harry climbs into Hagrid’s motorbike and takes off and he knows that Voldemort will not stop until he gets him. Harry with his friends Ron and Hermione track down and destroy the secrets of Voldemort’s immortality called the ‘Horcruxes’. The mythical deathly hallows known as the master of death is uncovered and the long feared war begins and life as they know will never be the same. Read the book to find out what happens next.
