Theentha Nadiya, the Sinhala translation of River of Ink, the British writer Paul Cooper’s debut novel, will be launched at the Mahaweli Centre tomorrow, August 20 at 3 p.m.
The book is based on a Sri Lankan story in the Polonnaruwa era (year 1215) and the author had researched his story plot for three years during his time at the British Council Colombo, working as a teacher.
A former News Editor of the Divaina newspaper and author, Attorney-at-Law Saman Kaluarachchi translated the book.
