My family decided to visit the Dehiwala zoo. We arrived there in the morning. The first thing that occurred to me was how huge and beautiful the zoo was. First we visited the aquarium. There were all types of marine creatures you could ever imagine – Goldfish, Alligator gar, Parrot fish, Gurami, Seahorse and Dragon fish were some of them. Then we saw the lions, tigers, panthers and jaguars as they were the animals I was very anxious to see. We also saw horses and ponies. Thrilling ourselves with the awesome memories of the zoo we returned home by noon.
