Chamari Atapattu’s lone effort was not enough as India beat Sri Lanka by five wickets in their second T20 match to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series at the CCC ground in Colombo yesterday.
Atapattu scored 28 in a Sri Lanka total of 131 for 8 and then picked up two wickets for 29 runs as the Indian women reached the target in 18.2 overs for the loss of five wickets with teenager Jemimah Rodrigues top scoring with 57.
