Tennekoon heads Old Trinitians

The former Trinity College rugby player Lakmal Tennakoon is the new head of the Old Trintiains Sports Club, it was announced on Saturday at the club’s 38th Annual General Meeting at the club house.

He takes over from Nug de Silva the famous golfer who was acting president.

Tennekoon has had a colorful sports career and played for the school in the late 1980s.

The rests of the promoters in the Committee are Dr. Asitha Bandaranayke and Sunil Wickremasinghe as the vice presidents with hard working and knowledgeable Dr. Indika Rantilake as the secretary for the second term.

The treasurer is Manjula Weerartne and the Committee is made up of Asitha Wakadapola, T. Kapinath and RC Gamage.
