The reigning Miss World together with key officials of the Miss World Organization arrived in Sri Lanka on September 30 on an exploration visit of the island. The high profile delegation is looking at the possibility of selecting Sri Lanka as the host nation for the world renowned pageant in 2020 or 2021.
The delegation paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs, John Amaratunga at his Ministry.
