Founder's Day was celebrated at Zahira College, Colombo was held at the College's N.D.H. Abdul Gaffoor Auditorium recently. It was held under the patronage of the Principal Trizviiy Marikkar.
Guest speaker Former Vice Chancellor of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka and Member of the Public Service Commission Professor A. G. Hussain Ismail delivered the founder's day oration on “School Technology and Learning from Media”.
Certificates were distributed to students and teachers who took part in the founder’s day contest. The Principal presented a memento to the guest speaker. Deputy Principals, Ananda Ponnemperuma and Razeen Assan, Vice Principals M.T. A. Rauff, M. M. Mihilar and Hijazi Mohideen, Board of Governors' Secretary Alavi Mukthar, past principals, teachers, old boys, parents and students graced the occasion.
