Wicket-keeper batsman Rahul Radesh of the British School in Colombo was selected as the Best Batsman at the inter-International Schools Under-15 Cricket Tournament 2018 worked off in Panadura recently.
The elegant left-hand opener was in tremendous form as he ended up as the highest run-getter of the tournament despite his team failing to reach the final-round.
Rahul had three successive centuries. He smashed a sparkling 121 against OKI International School and scored a brilliant 141 against Lyceum, Panadura before ending up with an unbeaten 139 against Lyceum, Nugegoda.
Rahul joined the British School at the age of 10 and since then he has turned out to be a consistent run-getter under the guidance of coach Aruna Batapolaarachchi.
