President Maithripala Sirisena will address the nation today, President’s Media division announced. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and meet the Maha Nayakas of the Malwathu and Asgiriya Chapters today to seek blessings after his appointment as the new Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, government sources said, a new Cabinet of Ministers is likely to be sworn in on Monday, October 29 before President Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat.
