The forth ‘Battle Of the Thomians’ big match hockey encounter between two leading hockey playing schools S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia and St.Thomas’ College, Matale is scheduled to play on November 3 (Saturday) at the Astro Turf at Racecourse Ried Avenue in Colombo starting at 4.15 pm.
The match is sponsored by Nations Trust Bank and prior to this big event the junior under-15 and the Old Boys hockey matches will be played at 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm respectively. This encounter is jointly organised by the Matale Old Thomians Hockey Association and the Mount Lavinia Old Thomians Hockey Union.
Both schools have produced top hockey players who have represented their country with distinction.
