Grade 5 scholarship examination top-rankers : Seylan Tikiri account holders felicitated

Seylan Bank felicitated Tikiri account holders who had excelled in the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination with a cash prize of Rs. 100,000.

H.A. Senuji Akithma Hettiarachchi of Reggie Ranatunga Primary School in Minuwangoda and Navascan Nathy of Chavakachcheri Hindu Primary School, who were ranked second in the island in the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination received Rs. 100,000 each along with a host of gifts for their deposits with Seylan Bank.

Head of Marketing and Sales at Seylan Bank, Gamika de Silva said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which kids can use to change the world. Education helps personal development and increases the country’s potential to thrive forward both socially and economically.

“Over the years, we have been rewarding the high-flyers of the Grade Five Scholarship Examination with exciting prizes, so that they are encouraged to do more and learn more.

‘Seylan Tikiri’ provides early development skills such as reading and the habit of savings along with good social values. Tikiri was the first account to launch Seylan Tikiri World Children’s Month where celebrations spanned through October, thus creating noteworthy memories among children.
