Richard Pieris Finance, the sole finance subsidiary of Richard Pieris & Company PLC, won two silver awards at the Islamic Finance Forum of South Asia (IFFSA).
The event was held at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, attended by a galore of Islamic Finance officials from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Maldives, who were all in contention of winning awards for exceptional performance in Islamic Finance.
ARIJ, the Islamic Unit of Richard Pieris Finance stood out at the event for the third consecutive year bagging the silver award for Window/Unit of the year and Leasing Company of the year.
“ARIJ’s success is no coincidence,” said the head of Islamic Unit at Richard Pieris Finance, Imruz Kamil, “We have experienced plenty of obstacles but I am proud of what we have achieved, this is purely due to the perseverance and hard work by the entire team at ARIJ, and more importantly, the customers of ARIJ has been tremendous, their trust in us has always been the driving force and we vow to continue and elevate the standards,” he said.
