My hobby is collecting stamps. A person who collects stamps is called a philatelist. We can learn many things about people, history, culture and flora and fauna by collecting stamps. I became a stamp collector about five years ago after my father took me to a stamp exhibition. There were thousands of colourful stamps both local and foreign. I was so attracted by the stamps that I began my collection the next day. Now I have nearly 2000 stamps both local and foreign.
I have two stamp albums in which I have neatly pasted all my stamps. There are stamps in many shapes. Some are square shaped while others are rectangular or triangle shaped. I spend my leisure time in a meaningful way because of my hobby.
