Former secretary and vice president of the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association Kapila Jayalath passed away after an illness on Friday morning at the General Hospital in Colombo.
He served as a teacher at Karandeniya Central College and was at the Gamini Maha Vidyalaya Bentota at the time of his demise.
His remains lie at his residence Sumana Medura, RE de Silva Mawatha, Ambalangoda. Cortege leaves from his residence on Sunday (Nov 18) for cremation at 4 pm at the General Cemetery in Ambalangoda.
