A book I read recently was Wave. This book is about the Tsunami and memories of the writer Sonali Deraniyagala.
It was published by Alfred A. Knopf in 2013. Sonali writes about her horrifying memories and her long journey. She lost her parents, husband and two young sons in the Tsunami disaster of 26th December 2004. After this disaster she went to London and built her life again. This book is very touching and powerful. It tells us the true story of the life of a woman who is a daughter, wife and mother.
