India win by six wickets

India had little difficulty in beating Oman by six wickets in an Emerging Team cricket encounter played at R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.

Oman scored 203 runs after taking first lease of the wicket. However, only Aqib Ilyas batted best to top score on 117 runs. He faced 122 deliveries and hit 14 boundaries.

India reached the target scoring 206 runs for four wickets in 41.1 overs.
