It was inadvertently reported in the Sunday Observer issue of December 9 that the wife of the Japan Ambassador Akira Sugiyama was pictured along with the winning Army team that won the National Baseball League in Sri Lanka.
The correct name should have been stated as Miss Yamada from the Baseball Federation of Japan who was in the picture.
