BOC begins work in New Year

The Bank of Ceylon (BOC) commenced operations for the New Year with a ceremony at the head office ‘BOC Tower’ with a multi-religious ceremony under the patronage of CEO and General Manager Senarath Bandara.

The ceremony took place on the first floor of the BOC Tower with the participation of the bank’s customers, members of the Corporate and Executive Management and Bank officials.

The Bank, focusing on the 80th Anniversary this year, unveiled the ‘80th Anniversary Logo’, and the theme was revealed as ‘Leading the way through Innovation’.

The Bank’s CEO and General Manager Senarath Bandara presented the bank’s newly introduced ‘BOC- CH17’ Co-branded ‘Multi Currency Travel Card- MasterCard’ to Joint Apparel Association Forum Secretary General Tuli Cooray.

MasterCard Sri Lanka Director Saliya Weerakoon and Chanel 17 (Pvt) Ltd., CEO Jumar Preena were present. The Bank of Ceylon and CH-17 co-branded Multi-Currency Travel Card can be loaded with USD, GBP, EUR, JPY,AUD, NZD, SGD and CAD currencies and can be used at ‘MasterCard’ merchant outlets (POS), ATM cash withdrawals or for on-line transactions.
