ComBank opens two branches

Teldeniya: Commercial Bank opened its latest branch at Teldeniya. The branch will strengthen the Bank’s presence in Kandy and offer people access to the services provided by a full-fledged branch.

The branch on the Kandy Road at Teldeniya was opened by Commercial Bank Deputy Chairman Preethi Jayawardena recently.

Teldeniya is an economic centre in the Central Province with abundant agricultural produce and natural resources. The Bank will provide its product range especially its agriculture based products such as Divisaru Savings Account, Diribala Loans Scheme and leasing facilities to residents.

Entrepreneurs in the area will benefit from the Bank’s ‘Biz Club’, a platform for entrepreneurs to exchange business ideas.

The new branch offers 24-hour services via an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) and a Digital Panel.

Embuldeniya: Commercial Bank opened its newest branch at Embuldeniya, Nugegoda, taking the number of branches to 266, one of the largest branch networks by a private bank in Sri Lanka.

Embuldeniya is an economic centre in the Western Province with flourishing businesses in fabrics, agricultural produce, vehicle spare parts and other trading activities. The Bank will provide its products range, especially, its lending products, consisting of personal loans, home loans, leasing facilities, SME banking services and the diverse savings product portfolio to people and upcoming entrepreneurs.

Commercial Bank Chairman Dharma Dheerasinghe was the chief guest at the opening of the new branch.

The branch at Madiwela Road, Embuldeniya, is a full-fledged branch operating an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM), a Cheque Deposit Machine and a Digital Panel to offer digital services to customers 24 hours of the day.

Commercial Bank’s network of ATMs in the country has grown to 830 terminals with the opening of the branch.
