PayMedia wraps up 2018 with 11 awards

PayMedia, a evolving Financial Technology (Fin-Tech) company in Sri Lanka, won eleven awards in 2018.

The accolades won by PayMedia, includes six awards at NBQSA, two awards at e-Swabhimani 2018 - Digital Social Impact Awards organised by the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka, one award at the CSSL ICT Awards and two awards at the CMI Excellence Awards.

PayMedia’s founder CEO Kanishka Weeramunda was recognised as the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the National Best Quality ICT Awards (NBQSA) and ‘ICT Leader of the Year 2018’ at the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL) ICT Awards.

He was also named the Best CEO of the Year and the Best Future Leader of the Year in the small and medium service sector category at the CMI Excellence Awards 2017, which in April last year.

PayMedia, a Sri Lankan company, was launched with the aim of providing the best total software solutions for banks and other institutions. While keeping the focus on Fin-Tech, the company wants people to trust and enjoy the convenience of digital technology and disrupt the payment processes in the country and around the world.

The company is driven by a team of ambitious and committed young people who are aware of the limitless growth potential of PayMedia.
