The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) has planned to conduct trials to pick players for the U-23 men’s national football team. Trials will commence on January 7 at the Beddagana National Football Training Centre.
Selection of a squad is to prepare them for the AFC U-23 Championship and the South Asian Games (SAG) to be held in March and September this year.
The FFSL has informed all affiliated football Leagues to send their best players for the trials and they should be born on or before January 1, 1997. More information can be obtained from Sunil Senaweera on 0777 110604 the manager of the national teams.
