Having been adjudged the ‘Best Direct Retailer’ for more than a decade, Abans PLC won this same award again at the annual ‘Colours Unmasked’ HP Partners Night 2018, while Abans Service received the ‘Best Service Partner’ award for the second consecutive year.
The event was held at the Shangri-La Golf Resort and Spa, Hambantota recently.
Over 250 HP partners and the upper echelons of the business community across the South Asian region were present.
Managing Director, Abans PLC, Behman (Tito) Pestonjee, the guest panel speaker at the forum, outlined the storied legacy of the Abans Group and the socio-economic dynamics within Sri Lanka’s emerging market.
HP is an internationally renowned technology company that operates in over 170 countries. The primary aim of HP is to examine how improvements in technology and services can help people and companies, while addressing the problems and challenges faced by clients.
Currently serving as a Tier-1 Corporate Reseller, Premium Retail Partner and Authorised Service Centre for HP, Abans has been marketing and distributing HP computers and accessories for over a decade.
Abans is one of the market leaders for notebooks in Sri Lanka. The company’s corporate business approach towards providing ICT Solutions to the government and private sector has also contributed to exponential growth over the past few years, a company spokesman said.
