NDB made childrens’ wish to see Santa Claus bring gifts during the festive season come true.
NDB officials accompanied by Santa Claus, visited the homes of over 800 children, islandwide, presenting gifts during the Christmas week.
During the NDB Santa Promotion, parents deposited Rs. 50,000 or more in their children’s NDB Children’s Savings Accounts, including – Children’s Savings, NDB Shilpa, Islamic Banking Minor Savings account and selected among a variety of gifts, including a remote controlled helicopter, scooter, a melodica, a monopoly set, and a kitchen play set.
Santa visited Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Mahiyanganaya, Ampara, Hambantota and Colombo. The response from Kandy, Kilinochchi, Vavuniya and Kuliyapitiya was significant.
