Visakha Nursery School, Bambalapitiya presented an adaptation of The Sound of Music at its Annual Concert on November 25, 2018 at the Jeramias Dias Hall, Visakha Vidyalaya. Over 350 students in the age group 2 1/2 to 5 years sang and danced to the popular songs of the popular musical The Sound of Music. Students sang a few Sinhala songs from the Sarigama movie. The Chief Guest was Principal, Belvoir International School, Colombo and former Deputy Principal of Visakha Vidyalaya Sitha Siriwardena. The Chairman, Visakha Nursery School Tissa Cooray, Members of the Board, invitees and parents graced the occasion. Principal, Visakha Nursery School Chryshanthi Lewke organised the event with the assistance of the staff.
