Sarvodaya Finance moves head office to Colombo

Sarvodaya Development Finance (SDF) relocated its head office to Colombo last week to serve the under privilege segment of the population better.

“We do not consider making huge profits on our financial transactions and we intend developing the personality on a holistic basis. Our motto is serving the marginalised society and this is why we have become a popular micro financial institution in the country,” Sarvodaya Founder Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne said.

With the new location we will offer customers more smoother and efficient experience and the new head office will be a turning point in our long journey towards creating an economically progressive society, he said.

“The customers should get social as well as economic benefit from a non financial sector institution and we strive to fulfill their aspirations while providing the necessary facilities.

“The demanding needs of the customers have evolve in a competitive environment at present and the state-of-the art head office will work towards meeting modern requirements. Towards this end, the office will be open until 10 p.m. on weekdays,” he said.
