People’s Bank relocates Maharagama branch

The Maharagama branch of the People’s Bank was shifted to a new premises recently and opened by Chairperson Sujatha Cooray.

The branch consists of a Digital Unit to provide seamless benefits of modern banking to the residents of Maharagama. A Digital Loan system was also launched for the first time for customers to obtain personal loans efficiently.

The Maharagama branch also facilitates a Self-Banking Unit, offering the convenience of performing transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Self-Banking Unit consists with an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) and a kiosk to withdraw cash, deposit cash or pay utility bills.

People’s Bank CEO and General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar, Corporate and Executive Management of the bank, the staff and customers were present.
