A hat-trick of goals by B Prince helped Matara City Club rout Negombo Youth FC by six goals to nil in a Dialog Champions League football encounter played at the Kelaniya Football Complex last weekend.
Larbi Prince scored two goals while R.B. Weerappuli scored a goal to give Matara City Club their six goals.
E. Abakah and W.T. Dammika of Negombo Youth were shown the yellow card.
Up Country Lions win
Up Country Lions SC defeated Defenders SC by five goals to two in their encounter played at the Jayathilaka Stadium in Nawalapitiya.
MRM Fahim (42nd minute), MRM Faizal (47th minute), A. Kwame (73rd minute) and Chandimal Wickremasinghe (88th & 92nd minutes) scored the goals for Up Country Lions.
Y.L. Jayathunga and A. Kwame scored the goals for Defenders SC.
Jesuraj Bernard of Defenders was shown the yellow card.

Pelicans SC beat Crystal Palace FC 3-0 in their fixture played at Digana Sports Complex last weekend.
H.A. Darko, C. Godfred and E. Lartet scored the goals in the 40th, 79th and 84th minutes for Pelicans.
M.H. Mohamed Shamil of Crystal Palace was sent off with a red card.
