Paranthan, Vaddukodai BOC branches in new locations

The Bank of Ceylon’s (BOC) Paranthan and Vaddukodai Branches in the Northern Province were shifted to new locations offering the digital banking experiences.

The BOC branch at the A9 Road, Paranthan Junction, was opened by the Bank’s Deputy General Manager, Sales and Channel Management C. Amarasinghe with the participation of Assistant General Manager-Northern Province M.J. Prabaharan with other officials.

The branch at Navaali Road, Vaddu South West, Vaddukoddai was opened by Assistant General M.J. Prabaharan.

This added more convenience in terms of digital touch for its customers. The Bank is spreading its technology to all its branches. These branches are connected to the rest of the 628 branches through a centralised network, enabling customers to transact real-time with any of the branches in the network across the country. The new branches will offer a wide array of banking services to its customers, such as current and local or foreign currency savings and Fixed Deposit accounts, children’s and Senior Citizen’s savings accounts and saving plans, housing and personal loans, special loans schemes, such as Thurunu Diriya, Enterprise Sri Lanka loans, education loans, Leasing and pawning facilities.

Customers can receive Debit or Credit cards, Micro and SME financing facilities and international money transfer and remittances services. These branches have the 24-hour self-serving ‘SmartZone’ that includes a CRM (for cash deposits and withdrawals) and ATMs.
