Cat to run 5km for charity

17 February, 2019

Felix, a United Kingdom railway station cat is doing a fun run to help raise money for a children’s charity. The Huddersfield cat, started her 5 kilo metre run on a Friday morning although station staff said she has been taking breaks by “lying down in the corridor.”

The distance Felix covers is being carefully tracked by a satellite tracker in her collar. The cat has already raised more than $5,000NZD for charity. More than 75,000 people are following Felix’s adventures on her Facebook page. But it looks like it could be slow going. Felix keeps 'paws-ing' for long breaks.
