SLASSCOM to host ‘IT/BPM Exporters Forum 2019’

The Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM) will hold the IT/BPM Exporters Forum at Hatch Works, Colombo this week, to create awareness among companies and delegates on how to take business beyond borders.

Titled ‘Economic Diplomacy and getting the best from a Mission’ the event sets a platform for ICT/BPM exporters to share their past experience and knowledge gained from outward missions, international trade shows and provide a glimpse to the Economic Diplomacy Program under the National Export Strategy.

The forum will offer the perfect blend of exploring and accelerating the avenues to reach global markets and acts as a networking opportunity for potential overseas business alliances, right methods of approaching global marketplace and showcasing the opportunities through the Economic Diplomacy Program.

The speakers include Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ravinatha Aryasinha, Assistant Director, Export Services Division, Export Development Board, Ravindi Ranaraja, Co-founder and CEO, zMessenger LLC, Jayomi Lokuliyana, Co-founder and CEO, i-Context Content Convergence, Anjana Ratnasara and Program Manager, Information and Communications Technology Agency of Sri Lanka, Sachindra Samararatne.

The Export Development Board and SLASSCOM conducted a workshop at the Institute of Policy Studies last month on the objectives of the National Export Strategy and the funding for people interested in being a part of outward missions.
