The Bank of Ceylon (BOC) said women will enjoy offers through BOC Credit/Debit Cards from till March 15 to mark International Women’s Day which fell on March 8.
The BOC Kantha Ran Ginuma (KRG) can also be converted or opened under SmartGen as a fully digitalised account where a passbook is no longer required to operate the account. The customer’s photograph and signature are captured digitally at the time of account to provide more safety.
SmartGen also comes with a free SMS facility on transactions carried out on the account. With the technology that offers the comfort and safety women deserve, SmartGen KRG account can be reached via B-App- mobile banking app, Smart online banking, Smart Pass book- easy reference to account maintenance and Smart FD- the scrip-less fixed Deposit option. Utility bill payment, downloading bank statements, paying Credit Card bills and ETF can be done easily via these applications.
Addressing emergency cash requirements/ or deposits that could happen at anytime anywhere across the country, BOC has set up 778 ATMs and 175 CDMs/ CRMs. Dialling ‘1975’ via any telephone connection customers can reach the Bank’s Call Centre to convey any concern.
