Former parliamentarian and General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Communist Party, K.P. Silva has passed away.
His remains are lying at the Jayaratne Funeral Parlour, Borella and the funeral will take place tomorrow, March 11 at the Borella General Cemetery.
K.P. Silva, first joined the Lanka Sama Samaja Party and became a member of the Central Committee. Later he joined the Communist Party and became its General Secretary.
