The Young Muslim Women’s League (YMWL) has organised ‘Summer Fair 2019’ at the Shaharan Banquet Hall in Dehiwela, on March 30, 2019 from 3pm.
A bazaar displaying food stalls with typical Muslim cuisine, trade stalls and clothes at reasonable prices will be the highlight of Summer Fair 2019.
Gift items, music, entertainment and loads of prizes are also on the cards.
The YMWL is a charitable organisation that has been working for the underprivileged for over four decades.
Some of the projects run by the YMWL include a day care centre for working mothers in the area, scholarships for university students, maintaining a ward at the Kalubowila Hospital and providing it equipment, herbal porridge served for the elderly and pregnant mothers, distribution of hampers and financial aid for needy Muslims during Ramazan.
