In celebrating 60 years of consumer relationship, Signal, a tooth care brand, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Dental Association celebrated the World Oral Health Day in Anuradhapura recently.
The event was aimed at preventing tooth related health issues especially in children. Screening was conducted among 3,000 schoolchildren at a specially designed train which turned in to a dental clinic.
The SLDA will organise similar dental screening in five major cities including Jaffna to ensure 15,000 schoolchildren will be provided with dental care with the aim of enabling better prevalence of oral health among schoolchildren.
