My school

14 April, 2019

I attend Harischandra College. It is in Negombo and it’s a mixed school. The college was opened in 1941 by the Negombo Dharmadutha Association as a tribute to Walisinghe Harischandra who was born in the village. The principal is Aruna Gunasekara. There are classes from Grade 1 – 13. We have a computer laboratory, library and a play-ground. There is a staff room and two canteens. My school starts at 7.30 a.m. and ends at 1.30 p.m. There are five-thousand students and two-hundred teachers. Our teachers are very loving and caring, I am proud to be a student of my school.
