Sri Lanka is blessed with an abundance of coconut trees around the island. A coconut is the most essential thing in a Sri Lankan kitchen. Coconut water is an ideal thirst quencher and has many medicinal values. Not only the fruit, we use each and every part of the tree such as the trunk, leaves and flowers. There is nothing to waste in this miracle tree.
Everybody should plant a coconut sapling every year to propagate this miracle tree.
