Vesak is a very important festival for Buddhists. It is celebrated during the month of May. The Buddhists go to the temple to observe sil. All Buddhists decorate their houses with Vesak lanterns and buckets. The festival marks the birth, enlightenment and passing away of the Buddha. Some Buddhists make Thorang. Vesak is a very meaningful festival to Buddhists.
