SLT fibre to power Green Star Residencies

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), recently entered into a partnership with Idieal Engineering (Pvt) Ltd., a professional engineering firm, which provides a comprehensive range of engineering and related services.

Under the agreement, SLT will be the total digital services provider for the 15 storey luxury apartment with 99 units, powered via the company’s state-of-the-art fibre infrastructure that will serve as the apartment’s communications backbone. The agreement was signed in Colombo recently.

Managing Director Idieal Engineering, K. Selvapalan said, “We are confident that we will achieve our business goals by providing unmatched, innovative and world-class experiences to the residents of our newest apartment since we have partnered with the very best – Sri Lanka Telecom.”

SLT CEO Kiththi Perera said, “We are honoured to have been selected as the Digital Service Provider for this newest mega project, by a leading construction companies in the country such as Idieal Engineering (Pvt) Ltd., and is steadily consolidating its foundations to position itself for growth in the future.

SLT will be powering the entire apartment with the company’s fibre-to-the-home infrastructure that will provide residents with ultra-fast internet connectivity with download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, crystal clear voice communications as well as access to high definition (HD) TV content via PEO TV.
