Sri Lanka A lose by 10 wickets

India A registered a resounding win by 10 wickets over Sri Lanka A in their first one-day match played at Belgaum, India yesterday.

Sri Lanka A made a poor start to their innings and were 81 for six wickets at one stage. It was then that Shehan Jayasuriya was joined by Ishan Jayaratne to put on 142 runs for the seventh wicket that helped Sri Lanka reach 242 for 7 in 50 overs.

Jayasuriya scored 101 runs off 139 deliveries and included eight fours and a six. Jayaratne contributed with 79 runs off 73 deliveries and hit a six and seven fours.
