The Annual Art Exhibition of the Russian School of Art was held at the Russian Cultural Centre, Colombo recently on the theme 'Space' with the chieftainship of First Secretary, Embassy of the Russian Federation and Director, Russian Centre, Colombo, Ms. Anastasia Khokhlova. Many colourful, eye catching and creative paintings were displayed by the students of the Russian School of Arts guided by teacher Arjuna Jayasinghe and assistant teachers Maheshika Fernando and Natalie Hetiarachchi. Participants were awarded certificates for their contributions. The artistic expressions of the young students from ethnically diverse communities showcased the beauty of the children’s world. Selected paintings will be sent to Russia for the next round.
