Former Sri Lankan cricketer and A team coach Avishka Gunawardana has filed a writ application in the Court of Appeal challenging what he calls is his unlawful suspension by Sri Lanka Cricket. He challenges the ICC’s jurisdiction over Sri Lanka Cricket in what he has termed as a private entertainment event the T10 Cricket League held in Sharjah in December 2017.
Gunawardena was suspended by SLC after the ICC suspended him over “fixing” allegations at the T10 League.
