The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) intends to form and maintain a national football pool to further train in preparation for the AFC and SAFF Championship to held this year and has called all potential and talented players to face trials before being selected to the pool.
The selection process will be conducted in two stages. The first will be held for players from Colombo on July 10 at 7 a.m. at the City Football ground in Slave Island Colombo 2.
For players from other districts trials will be held on July 11 at 7 a.m. also at City Football ground in Slave Island.
To be eligible to participate in the trials the player has to be born after 2001.
Shortlisted players will be camped for comprehensive training before nominated to the national team. Further details can be obtained by calling Gamini Madurawala on 0112 696 179.
