Nestlé’s softball cricket team cinched the B-division Champions title at the 2019 National Mercantile T-20 tournament last weekend in Panadura after beating Singer Finance in the final.
Nestlé captain, Eran Deshan, was declared Man of the Final while the chief scorers for Nestlé were Nuwan Chandana with 30 and Eran Deshan 23 runs. The Nestlé Lanka cricket team out-played no less than 10 of Sri Lanka’s leading companies during the league tournament this year after ending runners-up last year.
The Nestlé team comprised Eran Deshan (Captain), Saman Kumarasinghe, Priyantha Herath, Hashan Gunasekara, Ruchira Randeepa, Nuwan Chandana, Gayan Ruberu, Dhanushka Samaraweera, Tharindu Gunatunge, Jayen Costa, Duminda Gamage, Dinusha Chathuranga and Dilan Dhanushka.
