Team Colombo beat Team Galle by four wickets in their last fixture of the first round in the Under-19 Super Provincial tournament at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket stadium yesterday for a place in the final.
Galle scored 282 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs with Pawan Ratnayake making 71 and skipper Thaveesha Abhishek chipping in with 64.
But Colombo reached the target with four wickets in hand as Kamil Mishara scored 97 in 119 balls with 11 boundaries.
Team Dambulla will meet Team Kandy in the last match in the first round today at the same venue to qualify for the final.
