Green productivity is a strategy for enhancing productivity and environmental performance for overall socio-economic development. It is the application of appropriate productivity and environmental management tools, techniques, technologies to reduce the environmental impact of a organisation’s activities, goods and services.

In an era in which we are struggling to attain sustainability and conserve the finite natural resources which are depleting by the minute and threatening the entire well-being of the inhabitants of earth, this is very practical and topical.

The main objective of Green Productivity is to ensure profitability, reduce environmental impact and enhance quality of life.
