KPMG has been adjudged the most respected entity in the financial services sector in Sri Lanka, again by LMD. This is the fifth consecutive time that KPMG has won this prestigious award in recognition of audit and advisory services which KPMG provides Sri Lanka’s Financial Services Sector, while the Firm has been included in the list of most respected entities for the past four years.

Managing Partner KPMG in Sri Lanka and Chairman of KPMG MESA region Reyaz Mihular said, “We are happy and honoured to be representing the Financial Services sector as the most respected entity in Sri Lanka and would continue to develop our service offering to cater to the emerging needs of our clients meet the requirements of the evolving regulatory landscape.”

The ranking of Sri Lanka’s most respected entities is based on a survey of senior management undertaken by leading multinational research firm Nielsen on behalf of LMD Media Services. The data has been gathered by conducting telephone interviews and distributing questionnaires. The survey was conducted in a manner where the respondent was not permitted to nominate the company he/she represents thereby eliminating membership bias.
