My teacher is M.B. Hansani Sewwandi Perera. She is very popular among students. She teaches us Buddhism. My teacher is like a friend and guides us. Sometimes she is the sun in my world. There are times she looks like a large tree that gives us shade. Though it is her duty to teach us, she takes a lot of pain to explain the lessons. She is a master of the subject and follows the principles of truth, non-violence and courtesy. She guides us in every possible way. My teacher leads a simple life and is a woman of noble ideals. I like her very much.
