Building character and instilling values the Zahira way

Nearly 200 enthusiastic and energetic students of Zahira College, Colombo primary section were enrolled as Cub Scouts at an investiture held at the primary section premises under the patronage of Principal Triizviy Marikkar recently.

Scouting helps students to foster important values such as honesty, friendship, dignity, patience, discipline and kindness.

To inculcate these virtues, the management of Zahira College, organised a Cub Scouts investiture.

The principal, speaking at the event ,remarked that he was proud that nearly 200 students were enrolled as Cub Scouts.

At inception nearly 400 Singithi Scouts were enrolled, out of which 200 have risen to the ranks of cub scouts. Seen here are the students of the primary section receiving their woggles and badges.
