The Colombo Marathon which is held in October every year in Sri Lanka, will not be held this year.
An official of the main organizer of the event Lanka Sportreizen (LSR) told the Sunday Observer that the Easter bombings had caused much concern for the conduct of the event.
The Colombo Marathon that runs up to Negombo has many foreigners contesting and although the situation in Sri Lanka is back to normal the organising say they were compelled to cancel the 2019 event.-(TBR)
