Sri Lanka’s rising tennis star Anjalika Kurera advanced to the girls final and will be facing Jessica Christa in the ITF juniors Circuit 3 tournament at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) court in Colombo today.
Anjalika defeated Ya Chi HSU of Chinese Taipei in the first semi-final 7/5, 6/3 yesterday.
In the second semi-final Jessica Christa of Indonesia overcome China WU of Chinese Taipei 5/7, 7/6 (8), 11/9.
In the boys category, Kai Shiang Yang of Chinese Taipei beat Hyeoung Jin KIM of Korea 6/2, 1/0 to qualify for the final.
In the second semi-final Uddayvir Singh of India beat Leroy Yong of Malaysia 6/4, 3/6, 10/6.
Kai Shiang Yang of Chinese Taipei will meet Uddayvir Singh India in the boys final.
